The Ventures

  •  Allergy Aware

My idea is to develop an app that helps allergy sufferers feel confident and reassured to manage their allergies safely in any environment, e.g. at home, restaurants, schools and workplaces.

  •  Connection Kit

My idea is to create a kit that targets developmental delays for neurodivergent children.

The problem this GI venture seeks to address is that parents are often unaware of how to improve the quality of life and skills of their child, both now and in the future. This can leave them feeling overwhelmed, frustrated and lost on how to help their child.

To address this issue, my venture is a product that gives parents and carers clear direction on how to use play-based intervention. The product is mobile and can be used across numerous environments, making developmental support more accessible and consistent.

  • InvestiGate

My idea is to create a gamified education app teaching secondary students how to invest their money, and build sustainable financial habits for the real world. Australia, and even the whole world has seen the cost of living continue to increase.

As a result, it’s becoming harder for the next generation to maximise their money.

To address this financial crisis, Investigate will utilise a system that focuses on two things: curriculum focused learning that aligns with schooling rather than interrupting it, and a format that keeps users engaged and encouraged to learn more.

  • KompoDry

My idea is to create a compostable alternative to silica gel packets. An alternative which is comparable in size, weight, and ability to absorb moisture.

The problem this venture seeks to address is that silica gel packets, a widely commonly used packaging solution, are unsafe and never biodegrade.

To address this issue I want to create a product which will absorb moisture and after usage can be disposed of in compost, contributing to the circular economy and reducing the waste going to landfill. Moreover, the alternative will be safe to accidentally consume, thus, simultaneously safe for earth and our homes.

  • MexiSites

My idea is to create an individually branded low-cost booking system, to manage their bookings and clients, allowing them to save time and expand their business.

The problem my idea seeks to address is the growing and startup barber founders having to manually text their clients and have problems with human error through manual bookings, in turn eating into the founders’ free time.

To address this issue, my venture provides a service which has a working booking workflow tested by a real barber, @ Mexi-Cuts, with the client being able to add their customisation and personal touches at an affordable price.
